Your request.
A clear explanation.
Who we are.
American Pool Services is a request-matching platform connecting homeowners with independent pool-service companies. We do not perform the pool work.
What we collect and when.
The builder asks for your name, phone number or email, service address, pool details and notes. Your contact details and answers stay in this tab until you choose “Send my request.” We then store the request, its source page, and the time and version of your permission to share it. Reloading before sending clears the form. Downloaded summaries are saved to your own device.
How requests are used and shared.
Our team reviews submitted requests and manually assigns them to independent providers. As explained beside the Send button, we may share your contact details, address and pool needs with a selected provider to discuss the request. Assignment does not guarantee a provider, booking, price or service date. Providers are responsible for their own work and follow-up. We retain request information for review, follow-up and assignment records. If a team member contacts you, you can ask them to correct your request, stop follow-up, or remove it; include your request reference so it can be located.
Address suggestions.
While you type a street address, the street search and city go to Photon at photon.komoot.io to find suggestions. The query does not include your name, phone, email, unit number or pool details. Photon receives your IP address as part of the connection. Manual entry works without choosing a result, but typing in the street field still performs searches. Suggestions do not verify an address. See Photon information and the provider’s privacy policy.
Hosting and access.
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores requests in its D1 database. Private request records are available to our administrators through an authenticated inbox. To limit abusive submissions, the service temporarily stores a hashed version of the submitting IP address for rate limiting. Cloudflare may also process technical request information to operate and protect its services. The site uses first-party form analytics to understand visits, step completion, validation problems and drop-off. Analytics contain a random tab-session identifier, the landing-page path, a coarse device category, campaign tags when present, step numbers and field names involved in errors. Analytics do not contain typed answers, contact details or the service address. A keyed hash of the connecting IP address lets us filter testing traffic; raw visitor IP addresses are not stored in analytics sessions. Administrators can save explicitly entered IP addresses with labels in a private exclusion list. Exclusions affect reports, including earlier retained sessions, and do not block submissions or delete leads. A random identifier is kept in tab-session storage, with a new identifier issued on a page load after 30 minutes of inactivity. Raw analytics are retained for 30 days, and browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control disables the form tracker. The site has no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Administrator sign-in uses a secure session cookie; visitors do not need an account.
